Demographics: 9 years old, mixed-ethnicity / ethnically ambiguous African American, tan complexion, honey-golden brown eyes.
Physical Traits: The shortest member of the trio. He has expressive curly dark hair, a prominent, charming, oversized buck-toothed smile, and highly animated eyes. A cool neurodivergent kid with a chronic illness, and mobility issues that he uses his cane, wheelchair, or service dog to manage.
Signature Wardrobe: Dark turquoise/teal t-shirt, classic blue denim jeans, a purple-magenta baseball cap worn facing forward or slightly turned, and black ankle-high sneakers. Sometimes he wears his turquois and purple rubber fingerless gloves for more grip.
Personality & Core Role: Hyper-creative, passionate, and a bit impatient. He isn't a textbook genius, but his ability to map his imagination over real-world history makes him the ultimate explorer. He wears a vintage brass compass around his neck that serves as the trigger for his imaginary "Edventures."
Xuan Lin Chavez (The Brains & Tech)
Demographics: 9 years old, Asian-Hispanic mixed heritage.
Physical Traits: Slightly taller than Vittorio. She sports a long, vibrant braid dyed with a brilliant rainbow color gradient running through her dark hair.
Signature Wardrobe: Casual brown utility tee, rugged cargo pants, red-and-white low-top sneakers.
Personality & Core Role: Practical, analytical, and highly organized. Xuan handles the data, tracking ancient texts and translating blueprints on her modified digital tablet. Her grounded personality keeps Vittorio’s wild theories from completely derailing.
Langston William Miller (The Muscle & Heart)
Demographics: 9 years old, African American (with a Jewish dad) boy.
Physical Traits: The tallest of the group with a broad, husky, and strong build. He has strong, dark-featured facial expressions with thick eyebrows.
Signature Wardrobe: Plain, crisp white t-shirt, relaxed-fit dark gray jeans, and sturdy brown work boots.
Personality & Core Role: Empathetic, highly protective of his friends, and deeply practical. While he gets easily spooked by dark, ancient ruins, his physical strength and knack for real-world mechanics (like building things or moving heavy obstacles) always clear a path for the team.
Mrs. Jerrika (Fig Grove Health and Wellness Guide)
Mrs. Jerrika is the beloved school nurse/counselor that the students and staff adore. She is also the Head of the Science and Health Departments at the school. She takes extra time to look after differently abled students like Vittorio. She is an Afro-Latina young woman who always wears her pink butterfly scrubs, and her curly hair up in a high ballerina bun.
Mr. Henderson (Vittorio's Fig Grove Homeroom Teacher)
Mr. Henderson has sandy-blonde grey hair and looks like he is in great shape for his late 50s. Grey tracksuit. Former professional volleyball player turned teacher, coach, and mentor. Always delivering messages and life lessons through volleyball analogies.
